Successful completion of the SAT in the UAE
Thanks to the well-coordinated teamwork of specialists of our company and partners from Unival, four high-tech cargo inspection systems of DTP 320DV and DTP 320DVB product lines have passed acceptance tests and were approved for use at the Emirati-Saudi border in the city of Gwaifat. The tests were carried out for 4 days in the most extreme climatic conditions (at temperatures over 40C and humidity over 50%).
According to the requirements of the end customer, two new models of X-ray scanners were developed for scanning cars and buses featuring material discrimination by atomic number and a seven-color palette. X-ray inspection and screening systems allow scanning vehicles with passengers, while the dose per scan per person does not exceed 0.25 μSv, which fully complies with the requirements of ANSI N43.17 2009.
Among other valuable features are: UVSS scanning cameras, an intelligent surveillance system, passport and ID card reading systems. In addition, all four systems are networked with a single database and the analysis of X-ray images is carried out from a single center, thereby simplifying the collection and further analysis of the resulting data set.
We express our gratitude to all the managers, designers and developers who took part in this significant for the whole company project. We have made this world a little safer again.
