ADANI X-ray Body Scanner helps to prevent an attempt to smuggle Jewelry in Uzbekistan

5 February 2021 / medical

An attempt to smuggle precious jewelry across the border of Uzbekistan was prevented at Tashkent International Airport.

During the examination of a disabled passenger who arrived by Istanbul-Tashkent flight, customs officers found jewelry weighing 75 grams hidden in the prosthesis of his right hand.

Customs inspection was carried out using a dual-view digital X-ray Body Scanner for personal inspection, manufactured by ADANI.

The scanner allows you to quickly and safely detect potentially dangerous and prohibited objects hidden both under clothing and inside the human body. The implementation of two projections maximizes the detection capabilities of this bodyscanner.

To increase operator efficiency, the scanner can be equipped with A-EYE, the intelligent detection software for various classes of objects and DruGuard, the patented drug detection algorithm.
