Technical Support Manager (United Kingdom)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overall purpose of the role:

To manage all service-related issues within the region of responsibility and to provide customers with technical support and product training whenever is required. To work closely with ADANI Head of Service on ensuring that all the technical and service-related documentation is always relevant and up-to-date, and all the company service-related policies are followed and developed for improved efficiency. To develop, manage and constantly improve a structure for service support offering and service revenue stream generation by ADANI London office within the region of Europe, Africa and Kuwait.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Providing direct technical support to clients and partners within the region of responsibility both remotely and on-site.

  • Creating and managing stock of parts to be kept in the UK for supporting regional clients.

  • Managing all the reclamation and warranty repair/replacement cases between ADANI HQ, London office and customers (including management of documentation).

  • Conducting on and off-site training to ADANI customers and partners within the region of responsibility.

  • Participating in and managing installations of ADANI equipment and operator training.

  • Developing and keeping an effective structure for internal service/technical documentation management within the office.

  • Establishing and managing effective communication channels with other ADANI offices and relevant staff members.

  • Developing the structure of service support offering to clients and partners of ADANI within the region of responsibility. Development of multi-level service contracts for different equipment types and models. (Baggage scanners, People scanners and Vehicle & Cargo scanners)

  • Conducting product evaluation and working with the development team in Minsk for product improvement and development.

  • Working closely with the Sales Director and Office/Operations Manager to ensure that all the company policies are followed.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Fully completed Bachelor’s degree level education in engineering or another technical subject.

  • Exceptional customer service skills and customer-focused work orientation.

  • Focus on problem solving and task-completion in all areas of work.

  • Good level of physical fitness.

  • Willing to travel (including possible high-risk destinations such as Somalia, Libya and others).

  • High level of timekeeping and personal organisation.

  • Ability to complete tasks on time without supervision.

  • Pro-active and creative approach for constant improvement in efficiency of the company.

  • High level of computer literacy (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Office 365,)

  • Outstanding written and spoken English language.

  • Excellent and clear communicator (incl. International Clients).

  • Technologically aware with strong interest in software and technology

Service Manager (USA)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

With growing installation base of ADANI Systems, Inc. products in U.S.A. the market rapidly driving the demand for high quality installation and service. We are looking for a full time employed Service Manager, for servicing and installing ADANI Systems, Inc. industrial X-ray equipment instruments primarily in North America. The successful applicant will provide a high level of managerial skills, technical and service support to external customers while working under minimal supervision. The focus will be to organizing and managing service team, conducting respective processes as well as ability to provide on-site installation, servicing, field diagnostics, repairs and technical support of existing and potential customers and sales team, teaching and education of customers for radiation safety and technical aspects of equipment application. The position will also require the ability to train users of ADANI Systems, Inc. X-ray equipment on basic and extended functionality of the system. The position will also include duties related to service coordination, customer support and cross-functional team member support.

Potential candidate should be ready for frequent travels within U.S.A. and abroad.

Field Service Engineer (USA)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a full time employed Field Service Engineer, for servicing and installing ADANI Systems, Inc industrial x-ray equipment instruments primarily in North America. The successful applicant will provide a high level of technical support to external customers. The focus will be to perform equipment pre-staging, provide on-site installation, servicing, field diagnostics, repairs and technical support of existing and potential customers and sales team, teaching and education of customers for radiation safety and technical aspects of equipment application. The position will also require the ability to train users of ADANI Systems, Inc x-ray equipment on basic and extended functionality of the system.
